Taigh Dhonnchaidh offers instrumental, singing and dancing classes which run throughout the school term.

Current classes available at Taigh Dhonnchaidh are Melodeon, piano accordion, guitar, drama and teen group work.

During school holidays TD runs a week-long Fèis (Festival) where kids can take part in daily classes and activities during the day, and celebrate with a concert cèilidh at the end of the week, showcasing all that they have learnt.

Ceòl Nis & Connemara Exchange

Taigh Dhonnchaidh has developed a cultural connection with Connemara in Southern Ireland. We have had numerous cultural exchange trips between both communities and this allowed children and the older generation to learn from each other’s cultures, music and language. Both communities still have a strong Gaelic (Scottish/Irish) speaking community. These trips have enabled the children to grow in confidence and have given them invaluable experiences in other cultures and traditions.
